Il comune di Arzachena Costa Smeralda offre una varietà di percorsi archeologici all’interno di un parco composto da otto siti sparsi lungo il territorio della municipalità e testimonianza di un arco cronologico di diversi millenni, a partire dal neolitico medio fino all’età del bronzo finale.
La Singolarità della Cultura Gallurese o di Arzachena, gli imponenti complessi nuragici, le rinomate Tombe di Giganti, il loro stato di sorprendente conservazione compongono, insieme alla campagna gallurese, uno scenario di rara bellezza.
Lungo la valle di Capichera, dominata nella parte più alta dal complesso nuragico di La Prisgiona e in quella più bassa dalla Tomba di Giganti di Coddu vecchiu, si snoda un antico sentiero: Il sentiero dei Giganti.
Lasciato il Nuraghe alle spalle ci si immerge subito nella natura, dominata dal Granito, dalla caratteristica macchia mediterranea e da specie faunistiche quali la Ghiandaia, il Cinghiale, la Volpe, e la Tartaruga marginata.

Il Parco Archeologico di Arzachena – Costa Smeralda è composto da otto Monumenti sparsi lungo il territorio della municipalità e testimonianza di un arco cronologico di diversi millenni, a partire dal neolitico medio fino all’età del bronzo finale. La Singolarità della Cultura Gallurese, i Nuraghi semplici e complessi e le rinomate Tombe di Giganti, compongono, insieme alla campagna gallurese, uno scenario di bellezza rara e incontaminata.
La novità del Parco è il Complesso Nuragico di La Prisgiona.
Reso fruibile nel giugno 2009, completa il Parco Archeologico, che ogni anno registra più di 135.000 presenze.
